History

In response to guidance from His Highness the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan AL-Nahyan, the 1st President of the UAE, regarding nurturing human beings in the UAE on foundations of knowledge and science, contribution to development, leadership in the reconstruction of the State and readjustment to the challenges precipitated by the twenty-first century revolution of technology and mass media.

And with reference to Federal Decree No. (4) issued in the year 1994 regarding the Ministry Of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (1), 1992 regarding rules and regulations of licensing higher education institutions, and to the MOHE document "Standards for Licensure and Accreditation 2003".
