Fact book
Participates in the university assessment process by consulting with departments and units about data structure, and providing them with data and data analysis. It also provides users with pertinent assessment data such as students retention, completion and graduation.
Publishes statistical information for both internal and external use in paper and electronic forms. Publications include performance indicators, campus statistics, a university brochure, and the annual fact book.
Participates in university planning by providing data, and data analysis for facilities, budget, assessment, and program review.
Provides analytical support for enrollment management including enrollment patterns, trends, history, projections, and attendance patterns (student persistence, class cancellation rates, and retention), diversity, and grade distribution.
Provide a variety of data about faculty issues including teaching loads, course enrollment, department faculty distribution, comparative and equity salary and analyses of staffing trends and salaries.
AU published a Fact Book that provides accurate and timely information regarding significant aspects of the university and its operations such as: the annual enrollment for every academic program according to gender and geographical area, the faculty, the budget, the statistics of the Information Technology Unit, and the library. Besides the aforementioned items, the Fact Book includes data on general education competencies and institutional assessment
